Meet our newest foster “Mack” aka Tux!
He, fortuitously, wandered in front of a foster's car and thankfully made it across Highway 98 safely. After four days and the last Burger King cheeseburger he finally jumped in her car! Poor guy was just scared! Mack is a complete sweetie! He loves other dogs, is submissive and gets along well with big cats (little ones are too akin to squirrels and move really fast), dog savvy cats would be fine! He had a huge day at his first adoption event. He assisted with an adoption of a bonded pair in the morning, then went to his first Paws for Life NC adoption event at PetSmart in Knightdale and then we headed to Vintage Market Days of in Raleigh near Carter-Finley Stadium - Official Home Of Wolfpack Football. He saw a ton of Wolfpacker’s who showered him with “Good Boy’s” and “Oh you’re so handsome” while tail-gating! Then he shopped, he picked out some homemade dog biscuits for the kids at home and a new Bowtie to complete his look. He even assisted with a young girl who had lost her way. She really loved petting him and he helped her find her dad. He really is a good boy!
