Paws For Life Supply Drive This Saturday

WalmartPaws For Life will be at Walmart in Wake Forest this Saturday 11 am to 2 pm for a supply drive. Come out and say hello.  

 Our mission is to save as many animals as we can.  Cost of food and medical expenses are our biggest expense.  Paws For Life volunteers set up monthly Supply Drives to help cut some of that cost.  Do you want to help?  A full list of items needed are on our website .  Below is a short list of the supplies needed:

    1. Iams Dog and Kitten Food.
    2. Fancy Feast Turkey kitten food,
    3. Grain free Adult and Puppy  food
    4. Puppy pads
    5. Kitty litter (clumping and Yesterday News Litter for kittens)
    6. Kitchen trash bags
    7. Paper towels.

Hair Undone Pays it Forward

We want to send a very special thank you to Rolesville business, Hair Undone! Most of all Apryl and Azriel, who sponsored a hair care raffle in . For every client that brought in any food or supply item for cats and dogs in need, they were entered into a drawing to win some amazing goods and/or services.  The supply drive proved to be so successful two pick ups were required and Hair Undone extended the time for donations and ADDED several more winners!  When you are in need of a NEW DO, an UP DO, a RE DO, or you just need your DO done, please consider Hair Undone!  Many, many thanks for our community supporters! From our furry headed fans!!!

Recently a volunteer made a request, “Can someone pick up a supply donation from Redd Waggin?”  Sure, that was something I could take care of on a sunny, beautiful, unusually warm February day.  Little did I know when I would arrive to pick up this food and supply delivery it would take 4 husky men and little ‘ole me to fill up my car from top to bottom and from front to back! (By the way, there are as many different volunteer opportunities as there are interests you have or time you have available…are you interested in helping? Johnny Dotson, owner of Redd Waggin Pet Supply Co., donated 100’s of pounds of cat and dog food as well as much needed kitty litter to Paws For Life.  As he states, “This is a truck worth chasing!” When we receive support in the way of food and supply donations from our community, it allows Paws For Life to allocate more money to medical treatment for the our rescues.
