Paws For Life Animal Rescue’s main mission is to reduce the amount of unwanted pets in the community. In order to accomplish our mission, we have setup various community programs and we work closely with other non-profits in our community to help control the abandoned pet population. Here are our community programs:
SNIF is our key initiative to control the pet population in Franklin County — it’s a spay and neuter subsidy program.
We strive to educate the importance of pet adoptions. We’ve started the first North Carolina chapter of Homeless Pet Clubs to help engage the community.
Are you no longer able to keep your pet? We have limited capacity to accept surrendered animals. Find out more about how we may be able to help.
We help the animals that are usually passed up due to medical needs… This program is designed to give pets with heartworm or other treatable medical conditions a second chance.
Franklin County rabies clinics are scheduled different times of the year for $5 each. As they are scheduled we will post those dates and locations.
Have a barn or warehouse? You need to hire a cat! We are working with area industries to control the rodent population and protect their supplies.
