February Volunteer Spotlight and Thank You

Paws for Life Animal Rescue has so many wonderful volunteers doing great things for our organization and the animals in our care. Here are just a few who regularly go above to help us achieve our goals.

Pete Mercer has been with our group for less than a year, but he has jumped in with both feet. He’s a dog foster, a dog team captain, a recurring adoption event leader, and most recently joined the intake team. He is always offering to deliver/pick up food, supplies, medicines and even offers to pick up and drop off foster dogs other than his own to make sure they get to events. Pete is a total team player.

Susan Decker’s energy, positive outlook, and friendliness are indescribable. She is the first to offer a hand to those who need help. Susan gets on board and supports others’ ideas and efforts 100%. She is an integral member of our fundraising team and a great conduit for connecting people, purpose and positive energy. Everyone needs a Susan Decker their organization.

When it comes to volunteering, Barbara Coe is a soft-spoken, friendly woman who delivers quite a punch … and she does it with flair! An active cat foster, our reigning supply-drive queen, and a fundraising team member extraordinaire, Barbara is always at the ready to lead a drive, donate a basket or offer support. She is the epitome of quiet strength.

Thanks All!

Thank you to all of our volunteers for everything you do each and every day! It doesn’t matter if you are cat team or dog team, foster or general volunteer, put your efforts towards fundraising, running events/programs, screening applications, checking voice mails, website management, grant writing, delivery/transports, cleaning condos/q-shed, or helping spread the word about what we do. We are all in this organization together to make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs and cats. Together, we DO make a difference and every year gets better and better with the number of animals we are able to rescue.
